after a night-out with choirmates, i woke up because i had to answer a nature's call. actually, my gallbladder has been sending confusing messages to my brain thus i have the awful feeling of urinating every 2 minutes! now, you may think i'm exaggerating. i am not!
i knew then that my sickness, UTI (urinary tract infection) has come back. i tried to bear the discomfortness till late before noon, since the feeling of sleepiness outweighed the uneasiness and pain. however, i had to take my brunch later on since i need to pop a medicine (Urispas tablets for the abnormal frequency of urinating) to relieve me of my misery. after a couple of hours, my condition worsened all the more. i had chills and my temperature rose to 39 degrees Celsius and i squirmed with pain when i pee!!
i readily deduced that the infection was more severe than what i expected so i asked my hubby to buy me the same medicines that were prescribed to me before by an Al Noor Hospital doctor. i immediately took the antibiotic (Ciprobay 500) and the Panadol that he bought. i dozed off afterwards for about 2 hours. i woke up early evening feeling a little better. my hubby prepared dinner for me which i consumed in a flash! kahit sicky ako, matakaw pa din! hehehe. i dunno, but i dont suffer from loss of appetite when i am sick. contrary to that, i eat with gusto pa nga! =) pwera na lang siguro if the pain involves my teeth or my gums. hehe. bakit nga ba hindi uso sa akin ang mawalan ng gana pag may sakit? probably because i don't have to cook or wash the dishes afterwards plus i get to eat what i wished for when i am sick. :) talk about privileges!!! =)
anyhow, we went to ADNOC Clinic to seek further medical attention. the doctor have the same conclusion as i am. still, she asked me to take and submit some urine sample for lab test to prove her conclusion right. i was asked to come back tomorrow morning for the result. she did not issue sick leave for me for tomorrow, kainis nga eh. according to her, she still have to see the result first. sigurista siya huh! hmm... i wonder if the antibiotic i took this afternoon negate the lab result??!!! let's see...

marvin had invited my choirmates (the boys, specifically) for a drink in our home. subsequently, we had choir practice this evening so together with josie, we just waited for them down kuya jun's building. we went out to buy some alcohol first, a Fundador and some Red Horse beers. while they were doing their drinking, me and josie were devouring on extravaganza-flavored Domino's Pizza.
they gulped up all the alcohols at about 12:30 AM. bitin daw! =) Dennis suggested for continuation of the drinking session in Manila Bay, a disco bar, where we could also do some dancing and drinking at the same time. =) so, on we went to the bar. it was jampacked but we still managed to squeezed through! hehe. we had some drinks and disco'd like crazy! how did the boys (and girls) behaved???!!!
- marvin - he's my hubby and yet all i can say is, he's malufet!!! imagine, going out for a gimik with your wife and yet still managed to dance with another girl!!! sweet pa yung tugtog huh!!! ain't that malupit to the max??!!! and the girl held on so tight!!! grrr... gusto ko siyang sabunutan!! next time, i'd bring a lighter along and burn a girl's hair who tries to steal my hubby.... talaga!!!
- romy - he's not on his wits and gone really mad tonight! sobrang kulet nya! panalo siya sa kakulitan! when he's still sober, he kept on criticizing the pulutan i made for them. when he got drunk, he kept on messing josie. hahaha. and when the dancing finally finished, he still kept dancing!!!! kadiri pa ang dance moves nya, mala-erotic! hahaha. grabe, para siyang naka-take ng shabu sa trip! if he hasn't volunteered to make the next session's "pulutan", we could have abandoned this guy! =)
- wilfredo - he's the tamang drunk and red. namumula sa pagkalasing! hahaha. but he managed to keep poised and be quiet. volunteered to cook "pulutan" for another drinking session in the future! yey! (on second thought, why were they volunteering to cook pulutan? were they implying the pulutan i prepared tasted aweful??? ggrrr...)
- mandy - he's the quietest of them all. he should have been the "spartan" slippers' model. because he was able to go the bar/disco wearing only beachwalk sandals! pero na-carry nya huh??!! bka naman haiavanas yun?? hehehe
- bong - considering how makulet he is, he was quite behaved tonight. although he almost got into a fight, he is still a peace-loving person and managed to make peace just before a heat builds up.
- dennis - quite unexpectedly, he's almost as makulit as romy. even if romy tops the kulit list for the night, dennis got the dancing king spot. haha. galing niya sumayaw, dami nyang gimik!
- josie - despite being extremely worried how her butt will take the spanking of her aunt, she has stayed and partied on with the group. she was romy's apple of the eyes! haha.
- mai - (me!) i behaved really well. just did some dancing until i got exhausted, drunk only 2 bottles of Breezer, and didn't pulled off the malandi girl's hair off her scalp!
everyone had a fun night... the boys even got a secret joke about a brotherhood sign. i won't disclose it here, else i might be kicked out of the group. haha. yep, me and josie are part of that brotherhood. =)

today's my birthday. my friends sent me emails, text messages, voice mails while my nanay took the time to record greetings from friends and called me up to let me hear it over the phone. naiyak talaga ako. actually, can't help but mag-emote the whole day. even while working, i can't help but get teary-eyed. ewan ko, naaawa ako sa sarili ko. maybe, am just feeling too emotional because i just turned 30 years old today and technically with no savings and wishes that didn't come true. add to the fact that this wish could be lost forever just because i am saving for something which could not come. hay.
a happy birthday??? everyone's happy except me. =( like what i have replied in my email, since happy sila for me, i will try to be happy na lang din.
my kuya cooked pancit for me and gave a necklace accesory that i couldn't wear because it's too small. si kuya talaga, patawa. hehe. i rendered extra hours sa office working. i was so busy at office today just like any other day. pagod. di bale, tomorrow tapos na birthday ko, tapos na pagse-senti ko.

i just received a package from Australia. it's the DVD from Maridel!!! she's a member of Hillsong choir. anyhow, the DVD's their choir's live performance. Galing nila, grabe! however, the DVD has no autograph of the members.
although i know that Del's going to send me a DVD, i still got surprised when i got hold of the package. wala kasi akong friends na sumusulat sa kin, more so nagpapadala ng gift sa kin, dito. hehehe.

"before and after"
marvin and i went out to buy groceries at Carrefour in Marina Mall. he was such in a happy mood today. siya pa nagyaya to go out (see before photo). right after were done with this chore, we parked our pushcart outside the Starbucks outlet inside the mall. mag-Starbucks daw kami! dunno if he's serious or not. kasi, i know my hubby is not a coffee drinker plus he'd rather not drink coffee if it costs like your buying the coffee farm! hahaha. anyway, i just went on with the flow as they say. when he actually went inside the coffee shop and approached the counter staff, then i figured na seryoso nga ang mokong! =) i had a hot cappuchino with caramel while he got an iced coffee with some choco. i forgot the exact flavor names, though. basta, both contained quite many sugars. for snack, i had a strawberry cheesecake while my hubby got a choco-flavored cheesecake. everything cost him a whooping 60 dirhams! hehehe. ayun, mega-himutok ng mokong (see after photo) coz only then that he realized that he spent 750 pesos for just 2 coffees and 2 slices of cake. i've only eaten half of the cake i ordered because i felt like vomiting due to high sugar content intake. grabe, ang tamis talaga!
anyhow, nakakatuwa ang hubby ko talaga. i remember hinting him that i miss Starbucks already. he always tries his best to give what i want, really! that's why i love him so dearly. hmm... ano kaya regalo niya for me on Tuesday??? ngahahaha.

my hubby and i left abu dhabi bout 10:30 am and we arrived in dubai just before lunchtime. however, paalis palang yung bus gutom na ako...hehe. as soon as we reached Al Ghubaiba bus station in Bur Dubai, i took a pee inside Carrefour's john. my hubby said that it was as if he's travelling with a kid. kasi daw reklamo ako ng reklamo that i'm either hungry or would like to take a pee. hehehe. as always, i know he will still give in to my requests. =) so, i told him that we take our lunch at Jollibee in Karama. miss ko na kasi ang Jollibee. =) we waited for #5 bus amidst the scorching heat. tagal naming naghintay... he got really pissed off because of the heat and said we just take the cab instead. a cab costed us 8 aed!!! ginto ang taxi fare sa dubai! hehe. whereas, when we reached Jollibee, it is still closed and would be open at 1:30 pm pa since it's a Friday. the more my hubby had his eyebrows met in opposite directions. okay, so we'll just go to Ibn Battuta Mall instead. we waited for bus again for more than 30 minutes. still no bus!!! kaya ayun, asar na talaga siya. ;p we took a ride back to the bus station via taxi and ate lunch in an italian resto (i forgot the name, basta peborit ko kumain dun! hehe). as usual, i had a bolognese spaghetti and some garlic bread while hubby had half roasted chicken. after getting ourselves full, we took the #92 bus bound for Ibn Battuta Mall. good thing, the cold air of the bus airconditioning unit dessipated my hubby's heated head. hahaha.
after 45 minutes of travel time, spans of desert land, a hundred billboards, and about 10 phonecalls to friends verifying the accurateness of our location, we finally reached Ibn Battuta Mall!!! it has a horizontal built with artistic design all over. it has the size of megamall multiplied by three!!! it has prominent shops inside and big grocery as well. imagine having three (or more??? i couldn't recall, but i did saw more than two) starbucks coffee shops inside!! so, that's how big it is. (FYI: design depicts the places taken by a 14th century arab traveller, known as ibn battuta, who's full name and title is Shams ad-Din Abu Abdullah Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Muhammed ibn Ibrahim Ibn Battuta al-Lawati al-Tanji. hanep sa haba noh! =) ) i was able to buy my mobile phone cover from one of its shops too. we met up with evangeline and her former officemate from the philippines, darwin, who's also on a visit visa. naku, eva's still a wacky fella. daming kwentong mala-telenobela..hehehe. after we have walked the mall about five times, we called it a day and decided to give our foot and mouths some rests. =) we separated ways about 8:30 pm.
marvin and me travelled back to abu dhabi about 9 pm and we reached home about 10:45 pm, wasted and so sleepy. yep, we missed all the tele-nobelas in TFC for this day but i heard quite new ones based on true stories from evangeline! so, it wasn't quite a big loss after all...hehehe.

called up Atlas Travel Agency to cancel tin-tin's flight for the 22nd of August. ayaw na niya daw mag-work dito. hay, ang gulo niya. anyway, since i'll be talking to remy (the travel agent) na rin, i might as well book my december vacation plans. as what my cousin raquel told me, it'll be difficult to get a flight since december's a peak season as for the influx of vacationing OFWs. i didn't believe her at first since it's more than a quarter before the holidays. but then, now that i'm having a hard time getting a flight schedule, i realized na korek siya!!! hehehe.
got a 7:55 pm flight from dubai to hongkong on the 27th of december. will have an early morning touchdown at HK airport at 6 am of the 28th. siyempre, timing for gimik na yun!!! hahaha. sobrang excited na ang beauty ko for Disneyland. forwarded photo of HK Disneyland makes me look forward for a magical Christmas. =) after 2 days, will leave for Manila for my almost month long vacation and travel back to dubai on the 27th of Jan. i also got another booking, which is earlier naman, which is the 21st of December on the way to HK, 24th to Manila and back to Dubai on the 27th of January. almost the same timing, except the second booking is 2.5 days long instead of just 2 days. para sulit naman pamasahe...hehehe. of these two bookings, of course, i prefer the 21st flight para makita ko naman ang HK during Christmas season. =) saka, it'll be more likely that i get that schedule as my bosses agreed already. ewan ko lang kung binobola lang nila ako para mag-OT-y everyday... hmmm... before i go back here in UAE, i also plan to go to either Bohol or Davao or Palawan with nanay and tatay. pa-anniversary gift ko sa kanila, instead of them having a wedding ceremony. para tipid, hehe. i haven't told them yet of this plan and have no plan of doing so until i got home. surprise ko sa kanila yun eh! =)
hay. all these boils down into one thing... gastos!!! hahaha. nagkukuripot na naman si ms. kuripot, ever! =)

i received an email from my sister and she wants us to go to HK together with our nanay and tatay. she said we'll just split the airfare of the two folks. it sounds okay din naman, as early anniversary gift for our parents. yun nga lang, except for the Qatar plane i don't have any other straight flight booking yet. anyhow, i'll just try try to book either with Cathay or Gulf Air. i prefer Cathay over the latter though. kasi Cathay has its own shuttle service for picking up and taking passengers back home, so kahit walang maghatid sa akin to the airport convenient pa din. another thing to work on, is booking for four persons naman which is what my sister will do. i hope, she does it ASAP nga lang.

michael and covey are two great friends. both of them grew up in the same neighborhood and enjoys the same passion for the game basketball. everyday, after they are both done with their school work, michael and covey would come to the park, feed the birds and play their favorite game of basketball. years passed by, michael and covey remained great friends and never grew tired of playing and eventually became two great players. one day, while they are on the park, michael asked covey, "friend, do you think there's basketball in heaven?". "i have no idea, michael.. i wish there is though", answers covey. "tell you what, if i die first, i'd tell you about it. but if you go first, do tell me about it, too!", suggested michael. "that's a great idea michael! i definitely agree to that!", says covey.
days passed and michael died... from heaven, michael saw covey at the park. while covey feeds the birds, he heard a voice.. "covey... covey...". "is that you, michael?", asked covey. "yes, it's me covey, your friend michael", says the voice. "great! how are you michael?? are you OK?? so, did you find out if there's basketball in heaven?", asked covey. michael answred, "well, i have good news and bad news, covey. the good news is, yes there's basketball in heaven. the bad news is, you have game tomorrow".

Eugene's stories which makes me laugh. actually, he looks so serious... but then, i think he has a great sense of humor as well. my hubby and i, attended the Tagalog Friday Mass. we went to Abela Supermarket afterwards to buy some pork. cooked BBQ-seasoned pork and sauteed some veggies for lunch. my hubby liked my cooking but complained it's causing him to have highblood pressure. naku! kahit naman walang pork, highblood siya lagi eh! hehe.

my cousin Raquel called up to tell me that her friend is now in UAE, specifically in Al Maha Rotana Suites here in Abu Dhabi which is just a stones throw away from our flat.

and so, thats the whole set-up... hehehe. after about 2 hours...
as soon as they arrived from Dubai, my cousins raquel and bong savored the delicious escabeche and chicken sopas that i cooked. just after that, off we went to the Al Maha Rotana Suites. while i asked for chris from the receptionist, the hotel bellboy overheard my inquiry and informed us that chris left a message that says, "i just went out to grab a bite and will be back the soonest.." so, being the mainiping ME, i asked the bellboy what time he went out and he replied that about 30 minutes ago... Hu-wat??? 30-minutes for just grabbing a bite??!! well, he could be nowhere else but in Oriental Korner (aka OK)!!! ngehehe... super tagal kasi dumating ng order dun... hehehe. so, my best and most probable correct guess is, that he's in OK! hehehe. so, sugod mga pinsan!!! hehehe.
right from the outside glass walls of Oriental Korner, there's my cousin's buddy named chris... paying his bills for the food he ate with his mates... patak-patak sila. raquel first made papansin right from outside, but no use. may pagkamanhid pala yung chris...hehe. so, after 'bout 10 minutes, she gave up and went inside the snatched him away from his new found buddies. ayun! introductions... walking... news... and we went to the Al Maha Rotana Suites, picture-taking...chatting... goofing around... hehe.

i was scheduled to go back to ADNOC Clinic for my physical theraphy session. it was my second actually since my neck has not gone back to normal yet. =(
i left the office at 12.30 pm, since our office's receptionist told me that there's going to be a shuttle service by that time. when i came down, lo.. there's no bus!!!! i had no choice then but to take the cab back to the city, costing me 20 dirhams! actually, natawaran ko pa yun!! hehe. umandar na naman ang pagka-Lumen ko! ;)
i reached the clinic at 1 pm, an hour early for my schedule. buti na lang, i just downloaded a scrabble game to my mobile phone, kaya nde ako nainip waiting for my turn. sarap magmasahe ng PT! she first heated my upper back on a machine with a pillow-like head. after that, my neck was exposed to a 6-piece lighting that's giving off warm soothing heat. sarap talaga! parang gusto kong magpa-ampon sa clinic!! hehe. after all these, she put cream on my neck and massaged it. hay.. heaven!! hahaha. the theraphist also taught me how to do some self exercise for the weekend. however, i am doubtful i can do it since weekend is a busy day as well. busy sa household chores!! hay... anyway, i will try though.
my next schedule will be on Saturday, which i doubt i can attend to anymore. my bosses will all be back by then from their vacation, so sneaking out was way too impossible. ngehehe.

i now feel better compared to yesterday. the pain in my neck have subsided. i can now move my head sideways to the left for at least 45 degrees! =) however, the pain on my upper back is still present. sinisingil na kaya ako ng katawan ko for abusing it when i was still young? i hope not. ang dami ko pang gustong gawin sa buhay ko eh. anyway, will just keep on praying that this pain is not associated with a more complicated illness. sana, ordinary muscle pain lang siya.
hmmm... my hubby texted me! asking how i am... kiligs! haha. it's been a long time since he texted me and asked how i am, when we are both at work. siguro kasi araw-araw na kaming nagkikita. hehe. he has been extra sweet the past days. bakit kaya??? kahina-hinala... hehehe.
blogging-wise, i have changed the URL of this blog from www.myleen.blogspot.com to www.pluckedfeather.blogspot.com . why?? first, is to limit the people who knows the address. yeah, yeah. i know i shouldn't have made an online journal if i don't want it to be read. but then, i do wanted it to be read. yun nga lang, by a few limited human beings whom i know for sure will not judge my character. i wanted it to be read and be understood in return. so far, i have made the mistake of spilling my blogging expertise to some people that eventually limits my honesty in writing. not that i am writing the wrong stuffs, but more of i am withholding some facts and opinions that may put me in a hot seat. anyhow, now that this blog site has been renamed, i am now back to my usual self. ganado na uling magkwento..haha. secondly, i liked the new URL address. i have tried different URL names but those that i thought of (like www.mscomplicated.blogspot.com, www.mylife.blogspot.com, etc.) were all taken!!! well, nde na ako masyadong inis about it because my URL is more appropriate with the design. www.pluckedfeather.blogspot.com ... di ba ang ganda!??! =) it can be a plucked feather of a bird or of an angel. whatever it is, the point is... the feather was plucked! gets moh?! that whether bird or angel, it cannot achieve the perfection it should have. because beyond its control, a feather or two will be plucked no matter how perfect she desires to be. hay naku, basta... just relate it to being not-so-perfect yet still manage to fly and be beautiful despite the imperfections.

yep, i have turned into a frequent patient of ADNOC clinic. in a year, i have visited the hospital for three (3) times! all of different causes. as for this morning, i woke up with unmoveable head so i have no choice but to see a doctor again. my hubby accompanied me to the clinic. thank goodness the doctor gave me a day off from work. or else, i'd probably turned into a statue looking at the right side always. haha.
the doctor prescribed two medicines for my neck problem, one's for oral intake and the other one is a gel. the medicine that should be taken orally does not contain mefenamic acid, which i am very much allergic to. aside from this, i was required to see the physical therapist for at least 2 sessions. one of which, i had today. the PT subjected my neck area in a light that gives off intense heat. after that, she massaged my neck and upper area of my back. it is soooo painful that i squirm! my next appointment will be on Wed at 2 pm so i have to leave the office around 12 noon.
when we got back home, we had our brunch after which, i rested and my hubby went off to work. i am so lazy the whole day, that i didn't even cook lunch. when hubby went home for his midday break, there's no food!!! haha. he was the one who prepared our lunch. walang reklamo huh. kahit papaano, he is understanding naman. hehe.

dunno how i got it (perhaps due to poor sleeping habits??? o kakatingin kay marvin??? ngehehe) but i am suffering from a stiff neck. as in, super sakit ng leeg ko! first time ever kong na-experience ito. i may be able to turn my head up and down with less effort than turning it left or right. been massaging it, carefully though because it's in the neck area, but the pain just don't subside. i can't take pain relievers pa naman, because i get allergic reactions from these kind of medicines. haay. what a hassle talaga! just as i was crossing the street this afternoon, i had to turn my whole body along with my head, to check for any incoming vehicle. para akong robot! hehehe. it's really a parusa!
when i got home this afternoon, i actually don't want to go out anymore but then, i had to pay the telephone bill. so, got no choice but go out and go to etisalat office. marvin came to know of my neck problem and checks on my whereabouts frequently. certified eengot-engot na daw kasi ako in crossing streets, add to that na may stiff neck pa ako, na-double pa daw ang pagka-engot and accident prone ko! hmm... concern ba yun or what???!!!! hehehe. anyhow, i was able to pay the phonebill and arrived back home in one piece. nagmamadali nga ako umuwi to catch up the teleseryes on TV, only to find out na wala nga pala today kasi Sat! grrr.....kainis!
on the brighter side, i am feeling odd lately. hmm... magkaka-baby na kaya ako??! just needs a few more weeks to confirm it though. haven't told it to marvin yet kasi sawa na siya sa false alarms ko. hmm... if this odd feeling confirms as a positive news, then i won't be making my own nightmares anymore. he can go wherever he wants to. ngehehe. let's just wait and see....worried lang ako as to what my bosses will say if ever. as my work is not mommy-friendly, i'll definitely have a hard time coping. =(

my hubby and i attended the first Friday Tagalog mass in St. Joseph. syempre, all ears na naman ako sa mga funny stories ni Father Eugene, hehe. after the mass, we had lunch at home and watched TV. had my nap soon after while marvin ironed out the clothes. hehe. when the sun finally gets tired of giving off its intense heat, we went out once again, bought pasalubong and visited jovy and her new baby. yep! she has given birth already to a baby boy which they named John William. ang cute-cute, grabe! nakakatuwa, when i tried waking him up, super kunot ng noo niya. hehe. which brings me to conclude, that no matter how hard it is for a woman to give birth, it always is worth it once you hold the baby in your arms. kasi, ako nga na nde nanay, tuwang-tuwa.. what more yung nanay niya talaga, di ba? hehe.
we went to Splash Mall right after since i need to buy a lingerie. am so shy because i went to the teens area. haha. pano ba naman ang lingerie dito, they're so big! hello??!!! isa lang ba ang alam nilang size??!! =) anyway, i managed to get two new small pairs with teddy bear stitches. haha.
as for dinner, we definitely did some pigging out. our dinner consisted of 25-pcs munchkins, a double size Dominos pizza, mango juice, french fries and fruit salad-flavored ice cream. this is one fine day...ngehehe.

the choir sung for a wedding in St. Joseph's Church. it was a union between an indian and british national. para silang kape't gatas, hehe. anyway, the girl is sooo pretty! her make-up's nice for an enchanted / princess themed wedding. may mga glitters kasi. nicely done, if i may say so. we sung Ave Maria as the Bridal March song. after the wedding engagement, the choir went to the birthday party of bro. erwin (the guy in brown colored shirt), another choirmate. they had delicious food prepared!!! the best of all was the BBQ, syempre. =) as usual, picture-taking, mahabang chikahan, etc. i went home with josie and walked along Hamdan St. it was a humid day so i was exhausted and pawisan when i got home. anyhow, sulit pa din ang pagod... hehe.

marvin and i made up already. as usual, made up without actually resolving the issue. nakakasawa na kasing magalit, so might as well accept his faults. nakaka-drain ng energy being angry and waiting for the other person to concede which you know he won't do. . although he was the one who initiated the peaceful talk (naks, parang giyera), feeling ko ako pa rin ang lugi. as always, it ends up that i am the one who lacks understanding. he said that i am just creating my own nightmare as there was no reason to get jealous in the first place. i tried to air my thoughts and feelings and although he listened, he still thinks he got a better alibi than what i have. haay. cge na nga, just to end this fight... nakakatuwa lang kasi we were both crying when we were talking about our issues. this was one of our big fights kasi kaya pang Best Actor and Actress andg dating ng drama namin. hehe. yun nga lang, mukhang naisahan ako because i didn't get the resolution that i wanted. hmm...

in order not to dwell in sadness so much, i just kept myself busy and surrounded by people. early this day, i went out and pay bills in two banks. after that, i went to buy some veggies in a nearby store. when i got back home, i started cooking breakfast. as my mother had said, even if you are in a fight, it's not a reason to shun away from God's blessings. and so, we took breakfast together in silence. =(
after marvin left for work, i started preparing the leche flan i promised to take to Nenette's despedida later in the day. she'll be going back to the philippines as she had her visa cancelled. long story though... i also cooked chopsuey for lunch (medyo expert na ako sa chopsuey! hehe).
after i am done with the leche flan preps, i went to brother tony's (co-choir member) place as he will help me transfer my MD music into CD audio. like me, he's working for the government sector thus he has a whole flat as accommodation. they have a very nice flat! but more than that, i got envious of the way he and his wife treat each other considering they got married ahead of us. they are still so sweet towards each other and had no quirms on saying their terms of endearment even with visitors around. so unlike us... =(
after i had my mp3 saved (thanks to bro. tony!), i went home and watch Kampanerang Kuba first before proceeding for my next activity. went to Eliot's place as me and my colleagues have salu-salo courtesy of Eliot, of course. sarap magluto ni Eliot! hehehe. he has three very cute babies and a lovely wife. i carried his youngest boy in my arms and he is just so adorable!!!! ang bait talaga! nde nangingilala, won't even cry and is not malikot huh! i went home around 10 pm and walked along Najda street. lapit lang naman sa house namin ang house nila eh.
i just changed clothes and went naman to Nenette's place this time 'round 11 pm. mingled with my choirmates and bid farewell to Nette. i went home with Arlene and Hazel way past midnight. hay, so tiring... but relieving at the same time. as my day was well spent instead of sulking in one corner.

i had a severe back pain the past days and the pain was just so terrible last night, so i have woken up late. Actually, sooo late that i almost missed our compay's service. i haven't taken any breakfast this morning and was rushing to the bus station where our service would pick me up. on my way, i saw this bird who had a gruesome death and is lying helplessly on the side of the street. probably a hit and run case... pity, even the birds fall prey on irresponsible motorists. there was another bird wandering beside the dead one and it seems like he was mourning for the dead bird. the scene just distressed me...
feeling ko, ako yung dead bird. wala lang. dunno how to explain it. but somehow, deep inside i feel like i am dead. =( ayoko na lang mag-emote sa blog na ito. but then, i regret having traded my dreams for something i thought is far greater. in the end, it didn't turn out the way as i expected it to be. sobrang sadness lang inabot ko. =(
marvin and i had a fight later at night. i just discovered something kasi, which my heart can't handle. i am deeply hurt and has spent the whole night crying. no other words can describe the pain i am going through, and no.. i don't feel like typing it either. =(

my colleagues and i went out for a snack (more of a lunch, snack and dinner rolled into one, hehehe) right after office at Ponderosa Steakhouse. actually, it's not really after office hours because we left the office at 3:00 pm. undertime ba!!! hehehe. the original plan was to have a lunch out. but since we already made takas before during lunchtime, we decided to change the plan this time. hehehe. jovy and i had no problem with this since most of our bosses were out of the country. so, we were able to sneak out clean. =)
we arrived at the resto around 4 pm and was able to conclude the celebration at 6 pm. of course, amidst the mouthful of dishes savoured, there's also lots of jokes that were enjoyed. the treat was courtesy of Rose, because she's now a PI employee!!!! yey!!! we're now officially 7 pinoys in Petroleum Institute. all having good feedbacks... now shouldn't Gloria be doing something like that???? ;p

i just got a new mobile phone! this is actually my dream phone... an i-mate JAM. yey! along with it is a 128MB SD memory card.
my old yet sentimental mobile phone, Nokia 6510, has been missplaced a couple of times and yet it has always found its way back to me. call that loyalty to the max! hehehe. with that, i have returned the favor by being as loyal as she is (i somehow assumed it is a "she", hehehe). even if everyone has got a new mobile phone with lotsa features, a polyphonic tone, a camera, bluetooth connection capability, etc... i have never thought of changing my mobile phone. well, that is, before i saw the i-mate JAM. well, i am more inclined into getting this brand/model not because of the tone, camera or bluetooth features. but, i am more attracted with it being more of a PDA with a phone and NOT a phone with PDA. getsch mo??? =) basta, when i saw this phone a few months back, i told myself that this is going to be the last mobile phone that i will ever own. am supposed to get this for my birthday but then, each day i become so restless kakaisip on how it's going to be when i finally have it. ang drama...hehe. anyway, now that it's with me, katabi ko na siya sa pagtulog lagi... ngahaha.
oh well, as of now, i'll be busy tinkering with this phony for awhile. learning why some people aren't comfortable with it...hehehe. ang weird, noh? but i like taking the plunge in things the majority are not used to.
